Gold Buddy 12 Volt - Gold Buddy 12 Volt Mini Highbanker - A complete Mini-Highbanker with many uses - Prospecting, sampling, concentrate cleanup. The top classifier box has a classifying section that allows larger stones to drop off the end in a waste pile while the smaller, heavier material is washed into the lower sluice where the gold is trapped in the riffles and carpet. Powered by a 12 volt 750 gph electric pump. The hopper is 7 x 20 inches and is 4 inches deep. The sluice is 7 x 24 inches. The total weight is less than 12 lbs. Gold Buddy 2 - Gold Buddy 2 Mini Highbanker - This is a high volume highbanker powered by a 12 volt pump with many uses including prospecting, sampling, and concentrate cleanup. It is designed to be used as a traditional power sluice. The unit is 41 inches long and has an adjustable 4 leg stand to conform to any terrain. The unit comes in two sections, a sluice and a hopper, and the assembly requires only 3 wing nuts. The hopper is 8 inches wide and 14 inches long. The sluice is 8 inches wide and 27 inches long. The unit can be set up to recirculate water or to draw water from an external water source like a pond, lake, or stream. The pump is a 12 volt 1250 gph electric pump which draws only 2.6 amps. The total weight of the components is only 14 pounds. The sluice and hopper are made of aluminum while the riffles, stand, and legs are plated steel for years of rust free service. The gold is captured in a heavy ribbed carpet overlain with diamond patterned expanded aluminum mesh to enhance fine gold recovery.
Please Note: The above photo shows the unit along with an optional plastic tub and tailing bucket. These are not included because of the increased shipping cost for the oversize package required to ship them. These tubs and buckets are readily available at home improvement stores like Lowe’s or Home Depot, or at discount stores like Wal-Mart. If you are not setting the unit up to recirculate these parts are not needed.

This is a much higher volume Highbanker than the original Gold Buddy, but is designed like the original with a two stage classifier sluice. The upper stage, which contains the classifier screen, is 21 inches long and 8 inches wide. The lower level sluice is 24 inches long, 8 inches wide and 3.75 inches tall. It is attached to a sluice stand which has four adjustable legs to conform to any terrain. It is powered by a 12 volt 1250 gph electric pump which draws only 2.6 amps. The total weight of the V1250 Highbanker is only 14 lbs.
